Journaling

When I was younger, I always had some kind of journal or diary. I just loved the idea of documenting things that were important to me at the time and looking back at them.

Then I kind of stopped for a period of time because I could never comite to them.

Last Summer, I decided I wanted to start a journal, but this time it would be different. 

I made it a journal that had no commitment, meaning I didn't have to write in it daily, weekly or whatever - just whenever I felt like.

That meant that I wouldn't give up that easily and hopefully would stick to it.

It seems to be working as so far I've kept it up for a whole year!

I don't have a million entries but I have a good number.

As someone who suffers from anxiety, I look at my journal as a place where I can express any anxieties I have, whether big or small, without being judged.

It's like a safe haven where I just let everything out, without sugar coating anything.

I feel relieved after I write things down. The problems may not have been solved, but at least I would have got it off my chest

I would encourage anyone to start a journal. It has really helped me during the past year and I love looking back at my old entries and see how far I've come since.

Summer is finally upon us! We've been waiting for this season all year round, thinking about it whilst we stay up till 4am cramming for a test. But once it actually arrives, we realise that it's not all sunshine and rainbows, especially if you live somewhere really hot like me.

Here I'm going to show you a few beauty products which I like to use especially in summer.

These scent just screams summer to me! It's my go to perfume and I wear it just about every day. It last all day long and at the end of the day you can still smell it on your clothes. Its great :)

I personally love wearing pastels in summer, and this colour is perfect! It reminds me of the clear, summer sky you see whilst spending the day at the beach.

I'm quite sure I've shown this in another blog post about a year ago, and it doesn't surprise me - I always keep on repurchasing it! A few sprays on your face on a hot summers day and you feel completely refreshed, just as if you've come out of the shower. Not to mention it has great benefits for your skin as well.

This product actually contains a blush + eye shadow duo, but my favorite is the blush. It is no doubt the perfect pink summer blush. It adds just enough colour to your cheeks to work a natural summery glow.

Maybelline Dream BB Bronze

Sometimes its just to hot to put on a full layer of foundation, but with all those summer breakouts you've been having, you need a light form of coverage. This BB cream is the perfect solution. It moisturizes, gives light coverage and gives your face a bronze colour.

Lush Face and Body Mask

Instead of trying to cover up those spots - get rid of them. This lush face mask does just that. First off its all natural ingredients and smells of mint chocolate chip ice cream. All good things all good things :)) You literally just leave it on for 5- 10 mins and all of a sudden its like you had no need to use the face mask - as all your spots will be gone!

PS... Bronze Highlighting Stick

This product is the best combination of a highlighter and a bronzer all in one! It gives you that summery shimmery glow whilst also adding a bronze tanned colour. Yes pleaseee!!

Batiste Dry Shampoo

Clean and Classic - Original

 Lets be real, there are many dry shampoos out there, but do most of them work well? Nope. Apart from this one of course :)) It does everything a dry shampoo is supposed to do, no further information neededddd

Sleek Makeup - Matte Me

Matte lip cream

Birthday Suit 436

This is hands down my all time favorite summer lip colour. It's kind of a nude shade with a pink tint to it and I'm totally obsessed. I also love that it dries completely matte and last for ages.
